Cheesy buttermilk biscuits

Happy Valentines Day!Once in a while when I have the craving for a utterly butterly delicious breakfast, I bake Biscuits. The soft cheesy and fluffy biscuits slathered with almond butter and nutella with a side of fluffy scrambled eggs and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice makes a wonderful comfy breakfast. This is my favorite recipe. They remind me of the biscuits served at Red lobster Restaurant. Hope you enjoy it.



All Purpose Flour 1 ½ cups
Baking Powder 1 ½ tsp. 
Salt ½ tsp.
Baking soda ¼ tsp.
Mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup
Buttermilk 1 cup
Butter 2 Tbsp.
Curry leaves and rosemary for garnish



Preheat oven to 400°F.
 

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in large bowl until well blended. Cut in the cheese until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk and mix until it forms soft dough. Place on lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. Roll out the dough to half inch thickness. Cut into desired shape with a floured cookie cutter. Place on Parchment sheet. Brush with butter and sprinkle curry leaves. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
 

Tips:
1.    Use cheddar cheese or cheese of your choice.
2.    You could use herbs of your choice.
